Clifton Mitchell
Clifton Mitchell is a British former professional heavyweight boxer who has since become a prominent boxing trainer, manager, promoter, and businessman. Born in 1965, he competed professionally in the 1991–1996 window, challenging for the British heavyweight title and racking up a highly efficient knockout record. After hanging up his gloves, he dedicated himself to coaching and community development, founding the renowned One Nation Boxing Gym in Derby in 1997

Adam Strange
Strange is the Head Coach at One Nation, bringing extensive experience and a deep passion for boxing. With England Boxing Level 1 & 2 and Professional Trainers qualifications. With an impressive history, having fought undefeated on the unlicensed circuit for 14 years and secured the Super Middleweight Championship. Having been given the role of Head Coach due to his passion, and unwavering commitment for the gym, whilst still learning the craft from Clifton Mitchell. Since becoming part of One Nation in 2023, Strange has committed himself to nurturing talent, guiding boxers to excel in top amateur competitions, including Ed Bilby, Porto Box and Development Championships, where they have secured Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. He is now dedicated to shaping the next wave of professional champions.

Michael Grignon
Grignon is recognized as a key training asset and corner man. Working alongside Clifton Mitchell for decades, he has been instrumental in preparing elite regional and national athletes for title contentions. His role centre's on tactical corner instructions, conditioning camps, and technical bag-work coaching for rising professional prospects, ensuring a legacy of discipline and sporting excellence in the East Midlands.

Aiden Cope
Cope previously competed as an amateur boxer representing Cambridge University Amateur Boxing Club (CUABC) and the Army boxing squad during his university years. Cope brings a wealth of discipline, tactical intelligence, and firsthand ring experience to the One Nation stable. Working alongside a top coaching team, Cope works to refine the technique, endurance, and mental toughness of both prospects and seasoned professionals.

Paul Frost
Frost is an English professional boxing trainer, renowned nutritionist & former professional Boxer. A prominent and highly respected figure who has dedicated decades to the sport of boxing. He developed a passion for the sport at an early age an entered the ring as a competitive boxer, gaining valuable first-hand ring experience that would later form the foundation of his coaching & nutrition philosophy.

Kate Strange
Strange has been an integral part of One Nation since early 2023, ensuring the facility operates seamlessly while managing essential registration paperwork, organizing medicals, and overseeing media assets and logistics. With a solid foundation in boxing, having completed her England Boxing Level 1 course in 2025, she brings plenty of experience to the table. Her deep knowledge of the sport is enriched by her family's involvement, with her husband Adam serving as the Head Coach and their three children competing in the amateurs. As the new season approaches, Strange is eager to dive in, support beginners and amateurs, and learn from more experienced coaches

Qasim Ifzal
Welcome Ifzal to the One Nation coaching team! Having recently completed his England Boxing qualification in July 2026, Ifzal is enthusiastic about learning and gaining experience alongside our dedicated coaches. His commitment and passion for the sport make him the perfect coach for our beginner and amateur boxers, having been hands-on since completing his training taking sessions and supporting in sparring under the guidance of either Clifton or Adam. As Ifzal embarks on his first year as coach, he will further developing his skills though-out 26/27 season.
